Little Sister
Lily’s tongue ran down my neck. I think I can endure this much.
It sounds like the person who interrupted our rendezvous entered the shower stall right next to us. They were carefreely taking a shower while humming to themselves.
Lily’s tongue gradually descended down my body. She moved from my neck to my collarbone and jumped all the way down to my thighs.
I want Lily to release all her desires today. With that one goal in mind, I stroked the top of her head as she went. Her wet hair tangled around my fingers.
Unlike before, she isn’t just rubbing her face against my legs but doing whatever she wants such as nibbling my thighs and licking my fingertips.
Rather than pleasure, I felt more like a parent, thinking about how much she’s grown as she crawled around at my feet.
When she returned to my thighs, Lily stopped moving.
Without saying a word, she finished showering by rubbing herself down from head to toe and left for the bath by herself. Was there something wrong with me? I quickly finished my own shower and nervously followed after her to the tub.
When I sank into the water, Lily, who had submerged herself all the way up to her shoulders, calmly looked towards me.
“I can’t do it after all. I cannot be the beast.”
“It was better than before. The uh……transformation felt more complete.”
“That’s what you say? Well you collapsed faster than ever. Did something change?”
Lily turned my words around and teased me. We were commenting on each other’s sexual abilities with the same kind of tone as if we were talking about tonight’s dinner, so I’m sure anyone watching us from the outside would find it weird. Even so, I think it’s possible for us to talk like this because we both know we don’t have to worry about each other.
She moved over next to me in the bath and set her head on my shoulder. This was different from the queen-like attitude she sometimes carries. This is just her treating me like a friend.
“Haa….this feels good.”
“What!? Did this…..put you over?”
Lily moved away and looked at me absolutely dumbfounded.
“That isn’t remotely what I was talking about…..stop acting like a dog constantly in heat and get your head examined. It’s relaxing soaking in hot water right? Training is tedious, but it still involves a good amount of exercise.”
With Lily’s skill, completing the swordsman training would be as easy as twisting a baby’s hand. It must be a strange situation for her instructor. I’m an amateur, so it’s not something I can relate to.
“Oh….I-I still have a lot to learn myself.”
“Which reminds me, how was your day?”
“Ah, yes! I was able to successfully cause Rose-san…..my instructor to get an erection and passed my test!”
Lily looked perplexed.
“You…..had to do what?”
Come to think of it, I only showed Lily my dance and never explained to her what my test specifically was.
“I-I didn’t have to do anything strange! I just had to perform the dance I showed you last night.”
“Ah…..that dance…..”
Lily’s face turned red. Part of it has to do with us being in the tub, but I’m sure that isn’t all of it. Even when we’re trying to talk like friends, things keep going in weird directions. Lily must be thinking the same thing because after a heavy sigh, she didn’t ask anything else.
An awkward silence settled between us. The sound of the shower coming from behind us stopped. When I turned around to see the face of the rude person who interrupted us earlier, I found a girl with short blonde hair running towards us. She jumped over Lily and my heads and dove into the tub.
A huge wave of water splashed me in the face. While wiping it all away, I quickly checked Lily’s condition. She’s strict about manners, so it’s up in the air over how angry she’s going to end up.
“Nerine. Be more mindful next time.”
“I will! How about you jump in with me next time?”
“I won’t……and you’re outright saying you’ll jump in again…..”
But to my surprise, Lily was still calm. The person who had jumped in was Nerine Candy. She was second in the provisional rankings, and at the unveiling party, she left a vivid impression after turning the targets to ash.
Now that I’m taking a closer look at her though, I didn’t realize just how young she is. There is a trace of innocence still in her face, and a cute short bob cut is loosely curled around her cheekbones. There is also a small part of her frizzy hair pointed towards the ceiling like gravity had no influence on it.
“Liffy, Nerine. Nerine, Liffy.”
Lily hastily finished introductions.
“Oh! The dancer! The dance you did was so cool!”
Nerine gave me a carefree smile. I immediately understand why Lily didn’t get angry. She’s like a little sister who can instantly work her way into your heart. If anyone would ever tell me she is capable of the tiniest bit of malice, I would not believe them.
“Oh…..thank you very much. Your magic was amazing too.”
“Please don’t feel like you have to be polite to me. I’m younger than you. Just, think of me as Liffy-san’s little sister.”
Nerine turned her eyes up towards me. She’s way too cute. I’m probably thinking the same way as Lily, and any tension left my body. But after noticing my gaze, Lily sharpened her lips and glared at me. This is probably something she didn’t want me to see.
“Nerine, you were late. Did magic training go long?”
Lily asked.
“That’s right! Well, I actually finished a little bit ago, for some reason it is hard for nobles to go in the bath when commoners are there…..”
Nerine looked dejected. Although the Candy family is filled with master wizards, they are still newcomers to noble society, so she must fall behind the other members. When I saw her in the dining room, she was in the back of the group and didn’t look like she was having much fun.
On the other hand though, if she were to show up and start talking with the commoners, everyone would almost certainly isolate her for being a noble.
In the end, she won’t be able to feel comfortable with either group. She’s so cute and has an obedient personality, so she’d make friends in no time if she could just talk to people.
“Lily and Nerine get along well together.”
“Yes! Lily-san is kind, so I like her! She always protects me from Olive-san too!”
Nerine would be good bait for Olive. I’ve entered the circle of nobility myself once, so I can imagine what kind of things happen.
“Why do you wish to ingratiate yourself into the circle of nobility so badly? You do not need to force yourself to follow me.”
“Dad…..Sorry, Father told me to get along with the other nobles and make connections. He thinks I will need it when I grow up. The reason why he had me participate in the audition is because he wants to sell my name and marry a famous noble in the future.”
It’s got to be hard changing the way you speak. I’m a little worried about whether I should be listening to this kind of talk or not though.
“Well…..Olive used to be a kinder child as well. When she was young, she didn’t care whether someone was a commoner or not and played with everyone outside. Things changed after some family turmoil.”
Lily spoke with downcast eyes.
“Really?”
It’d be better if she was just born vicious. If I know there is some reason behind it all, I might end up sympathizing with her even if she says something awful.
“You two seem to be targeted by her specifically though. Do not worry, if anything happens, I will protect you, so you will be fine.”
Lily held my hand under the water so Nerine couldn’t see. That is the number one line I would have liked to hear Lily say before I die. I don’t think she means anything strange by it, but it makes my heartbeat fast all the same.
I had to look away from embarrassment, and my body heated up. The other girls thought it was because of the tub though, so we all got out and walked to the dressing room together. Lily quickly put her own clothes on.
“Nerine, can you dry my hair with your magic?”
Lily approached Nerine while combing her wet hair. I can’t believe something like that is possible. Do me too please. My hairs gets real frizzy because I always dry my hair naturally.
“Ah….I’m not feeling well today…..I’ll see you next time though!”
After Nerine finished changing her clothes, she quickly left the dressing room by herself. She was willing to do a cannonball into the bathtub, so I wonder want she means by ‘not feeling well’.
“She’s gone…..is it normal to dry your hair with magic?”
“I am not sure if it is normal or not…..but I always ask whenever I have a wizard with me. I wonder if it would be wrong to ask next time though”
Lily gathered her wet hair up and dried it with a towel before leaving the dressing room. It seems like that will be all for today.
While drying my hair, I felt the urge to feel the night breeze, so I decided to head to the dorm’s courtyard.
Since most people are in bed, the corridors are dim, and lights are sparsely placed. When I opened the door leading outside, I came out to a courtyard filled with a thick garden of flowers. Looking at it from above, it would be symmetrically set up. Lily must be happy to see that.
There was a person already out here sitting in front of a flower bed a little way away. I didn’t expect anyone else to be here this late, so I watched them from a distance. The other person somehow sensed my presence and looked back at me.
“Ah! Liffy-san!”
Nerine seems to have run to the courtyard right after leaving the bath. It didn’t feel like she was trying to escape us before, so I decided to talk with her a little.
