Although there were still some questions that had to be answered, today was a holiday, and as such school was closed. That was why I decided to enjoy a picnic with El, Alto, Anna, and Allen.

[Rose]: “Mmm! This feels great.”

[El]: “Yes, all this time and I never knew there was a hill so close to the mansion perfect for picnics.”

[Rose]: “Yep, I’ve always wanted to show it to you, so I’m glad you could come. Fufu, and Alto looks like he’s enjoying himself too.”

[Anna]: “Mistress, Prince Routh, the preparations are finished.”

[Rose]: “Thanks. Hey El, have you gotten used to school yet? Is there anything causing you trouble or bothering you?”

[El]: “Yes, I’m fitting in well at school. ……it’s just”

[Rose]: “Just?”

[El]: “That woman is persistent. I ignored her at first, but then she just kept following after me. And I can’t bluntly tell her off either because of Prince Eric…… It’s very troublesome.”

(So it really is like that. Was Erina always after El? I’m pretty sure she can’t get the reverse harem end at this point, so now she’s focusing on El? ……hm? Is El even a capture target to begin with? Grah, I never played the game, so I have no idea what I should be doing!!)

[Rose]: “Don’t hesitate to talk to me if things get too bad. It’s best if we be careful and talk to Will-sama if we think something is going to happen.”

[El]: “Yeah, I can manage for now, so it’s fine. Thanks though Rose.”

From then on, the two of us were able to enjoy our time together, trading silly conversations over lunch and playing with Alto afterwards.

Rose invited me out to have a picnic together with her today.
After entering a new school, I’ve only been able to just barely keep up with the sudden changes in my environment, so getting a break was certainly appreciated. Rose must have noticed I’m feeling overwhelmed which is why she invited me out to this picnic.

But did I really look so tired that I caused Rose to worry? I really am still just a child. But as irritating as that thought is, the fact that Rose is thinking about me makes me really happy.

[Rose]: “Hey El, have you gotten used to school yet? Is there anything causing you trouble or bothering you?”

I’ve gotten used to talking with people. I don’t know if I could really call them friends yet, but I get along well with the guys I usually study with.

But…..

[El]: “That woman is persistent. I ignored her at first, but then she just keeps following after me. And I can’t bluntly tell her off either because of Prince Eric…… It’s very troublesome.”

Troublesome isn’t quite right. It feels like she’s always trying to flirt with me because of that sugary sweet voice of hers, and she always shows up to my class during breaks. She’s annoying more than anything else.

If Rose was the one doing it, I’d accept it with a smile, but somebody else trying to seduce me just makes me want to vomit.
The other guys in class all talk about how jealous they are of me, but if that’s the case I’ll gladly switch places with them. They should also watch out as the women in class glare at them whenever they try to tell me about how lucky I am.

I want Rose, not that woman, to come. We always walk to school together, but there are too many guys who like to hang around her. Prince William might be safe because he is already engaged to Sophia-sama, but then there’s that lady-killer Julius, the guy who calls Rose Lia Lucas, the knight Rudolph, the second prince Prince Eric, and also the candidate to inherit the dukedom Rickert.
Allen loves her too, but that might just be the respect and infatuation he holds for his master? It certainly feels like he’s more protective than he was before. Well, he should be okay……..probably.

I’m in trouble because there are too many rivals.
We live together, so I can mark her with my smell again to keep other beastmen away. Humans however have a worse nose than us beastmen, so they won’t back off even if I do get my scent to stick to her.

Also, even though I’m doing my best here, every time I do get my scent to mix with hers even a little, Alto comes running over and immediately overwrites it with his own scent.
At this very moment he’s sat himself down between us in an effort to keep me away from Rose.

[El]: “……you’re pissing me off dog.”

Rose didn’t hear me, but Alto probably did. Because after turning my way, he turned back to Rose and rolled over onto his back so she would pet him more. ……seriously pissing me off.

I should avoid being impatient. I have numerous rivals, but Rose always looks my way.

I need to slowly ingrain myself deeply inside Rose’s heart until she can’t live without me.

Be prepared Rose.
